There is possibly no greater rivalry in college football than that of the Ohio State Buckeyes and Michigan Wolverines, and a family of Buckeyes fans just took that rivalry to a new level in what can only be called the ultimate troll.
No, this family didn’t walk into a well-known Wolverines bar or restaurant in full Ohio State gear, nor did they find coach Jim Harbaugh’s home and leave some Buckeyes merchandise on the lawn. Rather, they did something far more extreme: posed in front of Michigan Stadium, the Wolverines’ home, and do a signature (albeit slightly modified) “O-H-I-O” pose!
Simply put, some hardcore Michigan fans are probably seething now. To do “O-H-I-O” in front of the place known as “The Big House” is along the same lines of a New York Yankees fan going to Fenway Park and blasting Frank Sinatra’s “New York, New York” in front of some rowdy Red Sox fans, or a Georgia fan shouting “Go Dawgs!” at Bryant-Denny Stadium.
And yet, this family’s actions are kind of awesome, and sure to add some fire to the rivalry.
Ohio State and Michigan meet on November 28 this season.
