Four-star recruit Zach Norvell did what he does best on Saturday.
The Chicago native and Mac Irvin Fire guard put his jumper on display with arguably the best performance of the summer at the Las Vegas Classic.
The lefty guard scored 53 points and connected on 14 3-pointers—11 in the first half–in a win over Castle Knights at Rancho High School.
Norvell, currently ranked by Rivals as the No. 92 overall prospect in the Class of 2016, scored in a variety of ways. He hit from deep, off the dribble going right and left, toed up off penetration to catch and shoot, and even created his own shot against defense from behind the arc with a smooth step-back into his shot.
Even Jabari Parker, a forward for the Milwaukee Bucks, was on the Mac Irvin bench going crazy watching his former teammate (Norvell was a freshman when Parker was a senior) at Simeon High School break the 50-point mark.

Norvell is being recruited by Illinois, Florida State, Purdue, Wake Forest, Bradley and Loyola, according to an NBCSports.com report.
The high school senior-to-be mentioned he would like to set up official visits to Illinois, Florida State and Wake Forest sometime after the July live evaluation period.
