6-foot-9 F Wenyen Gabriel’s stock rising after July

Highlights of Wenyen Gabriel, a 6-9, 195-pound forward, that plays for Mass Rivals, have been going viral after an impressive month of hoops.

The Wilbraham & Monson Academy (MA) standout recently picked up an offer from the University of Kentucky.

And 24-hours later, the senior-to-be tweeted that he received an offer from Coach K and the Duke Blue Devils.

Gabriel, compared by some to the younger version of Kevin Durant, has a ton of skill, athleticism, a great motor, and a polished inside/outside game.

247Sports ranks Gabriel as the No. 67 overall prospect in the class of 2016. With offers from Calipari and Krzyzewski, though, you can be certain he’s having an exceptional summer that will help his ranking increase before the start of his final high school basketball season.

Besides the two schools mentioned above, Gabriel, right now, has offers from Maryland, Boston College. Providence Texas, Virginia, UConn, and Notre Dame among others.
