Former ‘Jersey Shore’ star training for WWE tryout

|

MTV’s infamous program Jersey Shore has long been off the air and I have found myself feeling a lot smarter since it hasn’t been filmed in almost three years. Unfortunately, as a wrestling fan, I may not be done dealing with one cast member from the mind-numbing show.

BroBible shared a story of one former star of the show announcing their intentions to tryout for the WWE. No, it wasn’t The Situation, whose brash attitude and good looks would be perfect for the company. No, it wasn’t Ronnie, who fits the bill for WWE CEO Vince McMahon’s idea of a perfect superstar.

It was the only former cast member who actually has a background in wrestling. It was also the one cast member many fans probably don’t remember.

Angelina Pivarnick was only on the show for the first two seasons. She decided to leave the shows after enduring two seasons of bullying and being called the “Staten Island dump.” After leaving the show, she got involved in a brief feud with three TNA Knockouts. The feud culminated in a six-women tag match on a 2011 episode of iMPACT!

The match featured Pivarnick, Cookie, and Sarita against Angelina Love, Velvet Sky, and Winter. Pivarnick’s team lost after she was pinned by Love due to a distraction by TNA’s resident guido Robbie E.

She announced last week that she wanted to get back into wrestling, but she seemed more serious this time.

@WWENXT gonna start training for tryouts

Wrestling is in my blood. Wanna get back out there. I know I have what it takes.

Knowing the WWE like I do, she will probably get a role in someway with the company. She may never get in-ring action, but I would probably expect her to be featured on Total Divas, WWE’s show on E! focusing around the lives of the WWE women.

Heck, who knows? She may be pretty talented in the ring. She already has good nickname as she called herself the “Kim Kardashian of Staten Island” during her time on the show.

I just hope she doesn’t get thrown on WWE television without truly being ready for the limelight. Please don’t let them waste another roster spot on an Eva Marie type diva.
