Miles Bridgers posterizes defender in front of Calipari

If John Calipari wasn’t excited about five-star prospect Miles Bridges before this dunk, he sure is now.

During the recent July evaluation period, the Kentucky head coach sat on the baseline watching Bridges, a Flint, MI native, and was right in the mix of the ridiculous slam and celebration amongst the Mac Irvin Fire forward and his teammates.

In fact, Calipari’s only frustration with the play was with the opposing teams defender and his efforts to block the dunk.

“Why would he do that?” Calipari asked in the video to the surrounding coaches.

Great question, coach. Anyone that watches this is probably wondering the same thing.

Bridges is a 6-foot-7, forward who is entering his senior year at Huntington Prep in in Huntington, W. Va. He transferred from Flint Southwestern Academy after his freshman season. His top five schools, in no order, are Michigan, Michigan State, Indiana, Kentucky and North Carolina.
