The Foo Fighters have been making waves all over the world this summer. From lead singer Dave Grohl breaking his leg and continuing to sing and play to them allowing a fan to play drums during a song for his birthday, they have truly made thousands of people happy this year.
One country wants the Foo Fighters to visit them and make them happy just one time.
USA Today’s For The Win shared a spine-tingling video of 1,000 Italians getting together as part of their “Rockin 1000” movement and playing the popular Foo Fighters song “Learn to Fly”. The point of the movement is to get the band to play a concert in Italy.
I never expected the song to go as well as it did.
The leader of the movement stood up after the performance and gave a passionate speech about how he had been working on this for a year and how they really wanted the band to come play for them. If this doesn’t inspire the Foo Fighters to rock out in Cesena, Italy I don’t know what will.
Everything about this video is perfect. From the awesome drone shots to the maestro on top of the tower leading the band like an orchestra to the lonely two people trying to start a mosh pit near the end of the song, everything just seemed to work.
How could you not want these people to succeed in their quest?
