UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey was enjoying an open workout for the fans in Rio de Janeiro, when she was surprised on the mats by an unexpected guest.
A young fan dressed in a full gi came running out and attacked Rousey with a big ole hug.
Rousey kept her composure and slowly looked to see what was wrapped around her waist. Ultimately, the champion smiled, kneeled down and gave the young fan a big hug in return.
It was a pretty cool moment during the workouts and it was great to see Rousey interacting with the fans. It’s also very good that her reflexes didn’t kick in or the poor fan would have gone for one hell of a ride.
