Cardale Jones was able to lead the Ohio State Buckeyes to the national championship game and brought home a title last season. He was the third-string quarterback that wasn’t given much of a chance, after Braxton Miller and J.T. Barrett both went down with injuries. However, he quickly proved any doubters wrong.
While he has a lot of game on the gridiron, Buckeyes linebacker Joshua Perry said that Jones doesn’t have any game with the ladies while on the ESPY’s red carpet.

As some may remember, Jones tried to ask Ronda Rousey out on Twitter. He made it very clear that he had a crush on her, but also respected how dangerous she is as a UFC fighter.
Is it weird that I have a crush on @RondaRousey and scared of her at the same time

Soooooooo @RondaRousey what you doing after the show?

Perry took his game to the next level, and put a picture of him with Rousey up on Twitter.

Needless to say, these are shots fired and we likely haven’t heard the last of this story. It is a friendly joke among teammates, but both Jones and Perry are very competitive guys.
Jones will be out to prove this statement by his teammate wrong, and it will be interesting to see what he does next.
Even though Perry did get a picture with Rousey, the dominant fighter took the time to make a video for Jones. She thanked him for his offer, but didn’t say much more than that.
WhetherPerry believes it or not, Jones getting a specially made video is more than getting a photo.
