In December 2014 4-star running back Jordan Stevenson committed to the University of Wisconsin. On February 4, 2015 Stevenson signed a national letter of intent to Wisconsin. He was all set to pack his bags and head off to Madison.
However things didn’t go as planned. Stevenson was denied acceptance and granted release on July 24. Since then it has been kind of a whirlwind for the Texas native.
A day after being released he officially visited Nebraska and five days later he committed to the Cornhuskers. The 5-foot-8, 210 pounder enrolled at the University of Nebraska today and was welcomed by head coach Mike Riley.

Stevenson tweet his excitment today saying, “It’s time. Officially apart of the family, enough said, grind time. Living testimony, all glory to God.”

So what started out as a crazy week for the newest Nebraska team member has a happy ending for Stevenson and the Cornhuskers.
