Class of 2016 four-star power forward Mamadi Diakite, out of Blue Ridge School in St. George, Virginia, near Charlottesville, could be very close to picking which school he attends next year.
According to Josh Gershon of Scout.com, Diakite has narrowed his list down to USC, Virginia and Washington and could end up making his decision this week.

Needless to say, Diakite could pick any of those three programs and become an immediate contributor come the 2016-17 season. He has excellent size for his position at 6-foot-9, 180 pounds, and has a great rebounding game on top of a phenomenal motor. He has a year to put on some weight and refine his offensive game and once he does that and adjusts his approach to the game accordingly, then he can easily become a dominant interior player, a la former Louisville forward and recent NBA draftee Montrezl Harrell.
Once Diakite does indeed make his decision, Campus Sports will update his story immediately.
