College GameDay going to Blacksburg for Ohio State game

ESPN and College Gameday released some exciting news on Monday concerning their week one destinations.

Not only will the football preview show be at Wisconsing and Alabama on Saturday September 5th, they will also be heading to Blacksburg for the Hokies big show down with Ohio State.

Where and when College Gameday will be on your campus is always a big deal for both the students and athletes. It’s an opportunity be a part of prime time TV and the festivities are nothing short of spectacular.

Lane Stadium will be rocking with a 8:00pm ET kick-off time, and the level of intensity seems to be much higher when a game is played in the evening.

Ohio State will come into the matchup a heavy favorite and expected to win with ease. Virginia Tech will be playing the underdog role again, while looking to upset the Buckeyes just like last year in Columbus.

Head Coach Frank Beamer has already gone on record and stated that this is the most anticipated game in Lane Stadium.

Get ready football fans. The official kick-off to the regular season is less than a month away.
