This guy is wearing a helmet nonstop to promote ticket sales

Hats off to Arkansas State Red Wolves Associate Athletic Director of External Relations Jason Martin… or should we say helmet? The Red Wolves supporter came up with a brilliant campaign in an effort to get Arkansas State over 10,000 season tickets sold for the first time in university history.

In order to do so, Martin is wearing an Arkansas State helmet nearly 24/7 — with the only exceptions being as he drives or when he is hoping in the shower.

“With our new First and 10K campaign, it’s really our goal for the first time in A-State football history to get over 10,000 season tickets,” said Martin, via kait8.com. “In order to try to penetrate the market a little better, I was trying to come up with some creative ways to spread the word.”

Impressively, he seems to have the support of his wife, too.

“Well, I did get my wife’s permission to do so first, but yeah, I’m pretty much going to wear it as much as I can,” he added. “Obviously, I’m not going to be sleeping in it, some of the basic hygiene, showering, driving, outside of that I’ll be wearing it everywhere.”

The good news for everyone — especially Martin’s neck — is that he will be able to take his helmet off in August, even if the season ticket sales don’t reach that goal.

You have to give him an A+ for creativity.
