Video: Todd Gurley wears GoPro to show brutality of camp

Have you ever wondered what an NFL training camp is like for the players on the field? It has to be an exhausting experience to go out in the hot August sun and suit up for practice eight hours a day.

Sure, fans get the chance to go out and watch the practices and might get a sense of what it is like from the stands. But on the field, everything is different.

USA TODAY’s For the Win shared a cool video of St. Louis Rams’ first round pick and former Georgia Bulldog Todd Gurley at camp. He wore a GoPro helmet cam to give everyone a first person point of view of just how tough camp really is. The team picked Gurley to do this in honor of his twenty-first birthday on Monday.

If you ask me, Gurley and the Rams sure seem to be putting in a ton of work for the upcoming season. That was a cool way to spend your birthday.

Let’s hope all the hard work the team is putting in pays off for them this season. The Rams open up the season when they host the defending NFC champions Seattle Seahawks on September 13.
