Former Spartans OL commit Gavin Cupp picks Ohio State

Class of 2016 three-star offensive lineman Gavin Cupp had his offer from Michigan State pulled after attending Ohio State’s “Friday Night Lights” camp, but that has now resulted in him getting an offer from the Buckeyes and subsequently committing to them. Cupp announced his decision on his personal Twitter page.

Cupp currently attends Leipsic High School, about 57 miles southwest of Toledo, and he has the size at 6-foot-4, 285 pounds to become a strong fixture on any program’s offensive line. Michigan State could soon regret its decision to pull its offer simply because he did not let the coaching staff know he was attending Ohio State’s event, as Cupp could very well be frustrating the team’s oncoming defenders.

With each passing day, Ohio State’s depth for the future is looking better and better.
