Class of 2016 five-star forward T.J. Leaf, currently starring at California’s Foothills Christian High School, near San Diego, has de-committed from Arizona. Leaf announced his decision to do so on his personal Twitter page.
Thank you to Arizona for the opportunity to play for an outstanding program but I've decided to reopen my recruitment pic.twitter.com/YMynXuhD6o

Just where Leaf ends up next is anybody’s guess. When he originally committed to the Wildcats back in November, he was also weighing offers from Florida, Duke, Michigan and UCLA. Since he has grown an inch to 6-foot-10 and further developed his game since then, more offers are likely headed his way on top of the ones he received from those schools. It should also be noted that with his de-commitment, Arizona has nobody in its recruiting Class of 2016 anymore.
Fortunately, head coach Sean Miller has had his eye on other top recruits like four-star power forward De’Ron Davis as well as frontcourt prospects like Texas’ Schinder Herard and California’s M.J. Cage, among others. With Leaf now likely out of the picture, expect one or more of those names to be put on Arizona’s front burner.
Campus Sports will update Leaf’s decision on his future as his process on the matter progresses.
