I was just as surprised as the next person when I found out this morning that College Gameday analyst Lee Corso turned 80 today. That is a huge feat for anyone to accomplish and he honestly doesn’t look a day over 70. Alabama head coach Nick Saban recognized that this was an amazing milestone in Corso’s life so he made a special tribute video wishing Corso a happy birthday.
I never knew that Saban smiled, much less had a good sense of humor. He proved me and a lot of others wrong in his video that was shared by College Spun. He decided to wear the head of Bama mascot “Big Al” in homage to Corso’s famous headgear selection.

If this is any indication, we will more than likely see Corso wearing the “Big Al” headgear on September 5 as the crew makes their way to Arlington for the first episode of the 2015 season.
I may hate Alabama, but this made me laugh. Happy Birthday, Lee.
