Video: Kahlil McKenzie destroys teammate in reps

We talked yesterday about how huge a specimen of a human being Tennessee Volunteers freshman defensive lineman Kahlil McKenzie is at 6-foot-3, 327 pounds, and he put that size to use at practice yesterday afternoon.

In a Vine posted by Rocky Top Insider, Sanders looked absolutely dominant in a rep against his new teammate, offensive lineman Austin Sanders.

Needless to say, if that’s how McKenzie takes down a former four-star recruit in Sanders, one can only imagine what he’ll be able to do against top-of-the-line offensive linemen on opposing teams! Tennessee finished 32nd in the nation in total defense last year and with McKenzie on the line in 2015, that number could very well improve.

Thus, though it may seem like a snoozer on paper, Tennessee’s season opener at home against Bowling Green has officially become something to watch.
