Fox Sports analyst explains why Texas A&M will win SEC

The college football season is right around the corner which means so called experts are making their predictions on who will win each conference.

Fox Sports Stewart Mandel is going out on a limb and has chosen Texas A&M to win the SEC. Instead of following other analyst who have picked Auburn or Alabama, Mandel has chosen to go with the Aggies and is convinced their defense will be much improved from a year ago.

Head coach Kevlin Sumlin brought over John Chavis from LSU in one of the more surprising coaching changes of the offseason.

Chavis had been the defensive coordinator for the Tigers since 2009, but rumors started to spread that “The Chief” was growing impatient with the teams offensive woes and decided to split.

Mandel expects the offense to pick up right where it left off and believes sophomore Kyle Allen will be more comfortable playing quarterback in the SEC.

You can check out the rest of Mandel’s selections below.
