Mississippi State quarterback Dak Prescott has been one of most polarizing figures in all of college football the last season and a half. He has certainly grown into one of the most dynamic players in recent memory and he is planning on having a huge year in 2015.
College Spun shared a pair of videos of Prescott working on some running drills at practice Monday afternoon. The reason Prescott is working on running drills? Well, he is one of the more athletic dual-threat quarterbacks and he just wants to keep getting better.
If this isn’t any indication on what kind of season Prescott is going to have, maybe you should just look at his numbers from last season. He threw for 3,449 yards and twenty-seven touchdowns while rushing for 986 yards and fourteen touchdowns as well.
I think it’s safe to say that Prescott is surely going to be a player to watch this season. The Bulldogs open the season on the road when they play at Southern Miss on September 5.
