College football coaches will try just about anything when landing a big-time recruit. Whether it be visiting their homes or even flying them out to the university, all that matters is that they get their hands on great talent.
Take Urban Meyer for example, who appeared on a video with a high school player while saying something unusual.
Chris Daniels, a four-star defensive tackle in the 2016 class out of Texas, decided to go viral with Meyer. He told the Buckeyes’ coach to say whatever he wants, so Meyer proceeded to say he wants some “Texas flavor” to come to Ohio.
It’s not quite clear what Ohio State is feeding Urban Meyer, but it seems as though he’s ready to venture onto some newer delicacies.
When you thought the Buckeye’s coach has done it all, he always has a surprise waiting for us. He may want to spice up things, but I’m sure his taste buds are still craving another national championship trophy.
Daniels has been leaning towards TCU or Texas A&M, but Urban Meyer’s actions might have helped him get another great defensive tackle.
