CM Punk left the WWE over a year ago and shortly after announced he had signed a contract to fight in the UFC. Most of the UFC roster have not been too happy with Punk, whose real name is Phillip Brooks, seemingly using his fame to get into the promotion.
On Tuesday, current UFC fighter Cathal Pendred called out Punk on Twitter by making fun of his fighting skills while working the pads during a spar. Complex shared the exchange taht got pretty heated between the two.

Ali wasn't a boring twat. Sweet emojis. Focus more on you, maybe you'll win a fight without a gift from the judges. https://t.co/kP7QgPHK0n

That last jab by Punk seemed like a Floyd Mayweather kind of move, but he is right. Pendred started the exchange and I could only hope that Punk’s first fight, whether it be at the end of this year or early in 2016, could possibly be against him.
However, that does seem like a long shot as Pendred fights in the Welterweight Class and Punk is projected to fight in the Middleweight or Light Heavyweight Class. Still, it is interesting to think about, isnt’ it?
