ESPN releases trailer for ‘The Rise of Ezekiel Elliot’

This time last year Ezekiel Elliot was virtually unknown to most college football fans. One year later, the Ohio State running back is a heisman trophy candidate and argubably one of the best offensive weapons in the nation.

Next Tuesday at 8:00pm ET, ESPN will air “The Rise of Ezekiel Elliot” for its E:60 series. The network is offering a glimpse into the life of Elliot and the success he has had so far in his career.

ESPNMedia released a trailer that you check out below.

This airing will offer nothing but great publicity for the university and their football team. Recruits all over will watch an envision themselves with their own ESPN special.

Only a sophomore last season, Elliot rushed for over 1800 yards and 18 touchdowns. In the Sugar Bowl, he made Alabamas defense look pedestrian.

The Buckeye running back is eligible for next years NFL draft, but fans will hope he returns for his senior season.

Ohio States matchup against Virginia Tech is now less than 30 days away.
