Tired of hearing about the Buckeyes football team ranking first in a fat majority of pre-season polls? That discussion carries onward here, as well. After naming its board of voters, the Super 16 poll released its personalized pre-season college football ranking and Ohio State gets a near-unanimous honor at number one by the likes of the committee’s 38 members…out of 40.
Although the fact that what most pre-season polls signify for college football fans and analysts are to what the Daytime Emmy’s are to A-list actors, the 40 vote takers finalized their group vote, which can be seen below.
Dave Jones of the PA Media Group was one of the two men who fared differently on letting the reigning champions occupy first. Instead, he settled for TCU, of which a majority of the other voters placed in the top 5. On the other hand, 2007 Hall of Fame inductee Reggie Williams opted out for neither Ohio State nor TCU, but Alabama – respectively, Ohio State and TCU trailed behind.
How each member voted on his own poll – as opposed to the consensus – can be viewed here.
