UNC to self-report violations to NCAA

The self-reported violations to the NCAA don’t seem to be stopping anytime soon. From Tennessee to North Carolina, there have been many teams to report violations this offseason.

According to Scout.com, UNC is expected to report more violations to the NCAA on Friday. The NCAA had already laid down allegations of violations onto the Tar Heels just last month and the school was getting ready to release a response to those allegations. However, a snag occurred in new findings of violations by UNC.

The violations and in what sport they are involved with haven’t been released as of yet, but it is reported that one of the violations is tied to the Wainstein Report. The other rumored violation has nothing to do with the current NCAA investigation and has to do with an Olympic sport.

UNC could be in for a world of trouble if these allegations turn out to be true, but right now, the school will have to wait and see what the official word will be.
