5-year-old Hailey Dawson provided a feel good moment on Monday, as she threw at the first pitch at the Baltimore Orioles game at Camden Yards. Dawson, who was born with the rare disease Poland Syndrome, is unable to use her right hand.
However, the UNLV engineering department crafted an Orioles-themed prosthetic hand with a 3D printer.
Dawson used that hand on Monday night to throw at the first pitch while her favorite player, Manny Machado, was behind the plate.

It is always great to see these moments in sports, because they remind us all of why we love the games so much.
Kudos to the UNLV engineering department and the Orioles for helping and allowing this amazing moment to take place.
