FSU walking ‘yellow brick road’ after playing like ‘cowards’

Florida State Seminoles head coach Jimbo Fisher expects a lot from his team. In fact, his expectation is that the team heads to “see the wizard” in order to improve their play.

Jimbo Fisher asked about the yellow brick road leading to practice field: "We're going to see the wizard."

The team added a “yellow brick road” to the practice field in order to keep the team together and motivate them to do better. Apparently, Fisher does not want his team to replicate the Cowardly Lion from the “Wizard of Oz.”

According to an anonymous source, Fisher says that the team is playing “like cowards” and the path to the facility is being used as some motivation.

Here is a look at the path that has been built.

It may be viewed as a harsh motivation tactic, but Fisher expects the most out of his team as they fight to attempt to return to the College Football Playoff.

Florida State opens the season on Sept. 5 against Texas State at Bobby Bowden Field at Doak Campbell Stadium.
