Kansas State naming locker room after Jordy Nelson

The Kansas State Wildcats get a brand new locker room and stadium updates thanks to alum Jordy Nelson, who is currently a wide receiver for the Green Bay Packers. Nelson donated an “undisclosed sum” to the renovation project for the Bill Snyder Family Stadium.

As a direct result, Kansas State announced the new locker room would be named after the former walk-on.

Currently, a total sum of around $8 million has been raised for the renovation project.

Wildcats head coach Bill Snyder and the rest of Kansas State holds a special place in Nelson’s heart as he moved up through the ranks at the school before he was eventually drafted by the Packers in 2008.

During his time in the NFL, Nelson has earned Pro Bowl and All-Pro honors, along with a Super Bowl title.
