Kentucky basketball picked up a big time commit on Thursday from four-star recruit Isaac Humphries. The current Indiana high school prospect is originally from Australia, and is already drawing rave reviews from head coach John Calipari.
Coach Cal explained earlier this afternoon what player Humphries reminds him of the most and how excited he is to have him.
I watched Isaac when he first came over to the US in high school in Indiana & was impressed with his skill and size. https://t.co/8u7pmkqo7R

.@IsaacHumphries7 reminded me of a much bigger @BigJorts55. He’s very skilled, has great hands and is a great passer.

To have a 7-footer who just turned 17, he has a lot still in front of him, and the best part is he wants the challenge of playing at UK.

Wildcat fans will remember Harrelson for being a great role player and an important piece to Calipari’s first final four team at Kentucky.
The talented 7-footer is reportedly interested in staying in Lexinnton for a couple seasons. His high school coach, Brad Johnstin, shared his thoughts on the one and done topic.
“With his age, he’ll probably be the youngest kid in college basketball next year,” Johnstin said. “He has to go to college for two years. He’s not a one-and-done guy because he has to go to college for two years, which gives him an opportunity to play there for two years which should help his development.”
Kentucky is expected to be a very talented team next year, and should be in the running for another Final Four.
