Pitt has ACC title ring, trophy mural near locker room

They say you have to visualize your attack. New head coach Pat Narduzzi and his Pittsburgh Panthers are doing just that for the 2015 season.

Chris Peak of Rivals.com posted a picture of an ACC championship ring and trophy that the Panthers have on their wall leading into the locker room.

Pitt has been a part of the ACC for two years now, but has yet to compete for the conference champion crown. Media members have chosen the them to finish next to last in their annual pre-season rankings. Just ahead of lowly Virginia.

The Panthers avoid playing Florida State this year, but still have to face Georgia Tech, Duke and Virginia Tech. All three of those games are on the road and considered to be an L in the loss column.

This will be Narduzzi’s first season as a head coach. He previously held the position of defensive coordinator at Michigan State.

Pittsburgh opens the year against Youngstown State on September 5th.
