The Mississippi State Bulldogs are without question one of the more intriguing teams to keep an eye on heading into the 2015 college football season. They were one of the best teams in the nation last year, and are expected to be very tough contenders once again this season. Dak Prescott returning to school was huge for them and there is a lot of excitement in their fan base.
During the 2014 season, Mississippi State came away with a 10-3 record overall on the year. They went 6-2 during SEC play and looked like a playoff contender until the last few weeks of the season. The Bulldogs were still perfect until a 25-20 loss at the hands of the Alabama Crimson Tide on the road.
Looking ahead at the 2015 season, Prescott is expected to be one of the main contenders to win the Heisman. He lost quite a few of his fellow team leaders, but is more than capable of shouldering more of the load. Fans haven’t been as excited about Bulldogs’ football in a long time and the school is doing everything they can to drum up even more excited.
One way that college football teams drum up excitement with the season closing in is by releasing hype videos. Mississippi State released a new video that is title “Relentless” with their September 5th season opening game against Southern Miss on the horizon.
