The biggest question for the LSU Tigers upon entering fall practices was without a doubt at the quarterback position. Just weeks before the team opened camp, it seemed as though Brandon Harris had the position locked up due to Anthony Jennings being arrested and subsequently suspended earlier in the summer.
That changed, however, once Jennings was reinstated to the team.
Harris’s road to the starting role got a lot more difficult with Jennings back with the team, but he has still been able to impress. Recently, head coach Les Miles commented on the situation and it looks the job is Harris’s to lose right now.

Jennings was the team’s starter for most of the 2014 season, but Harris, as a true freshman, came in for the Tigers when Jennings struggled and showed flashes of brilliance. Harris being the starter to open the season comes as a surprise to virtually nobody as Jennings will likely suffer some kind of punishment for his involvement in the breaking and entering incident in July.
The Tigers open the 2015 season at home against McNeese State on September 5.
