LLWS pitcher gives up grand slam, but still has fun and admires moonshot

The older you get, the more serious you are about your sports. Unfortunately, that could lead to us sometimes forgetting that it is all supposed to be about fun.

Thanks to the Little League World Series, we have been reminded about that fun we should all have.

Missouri pitcher Mekhi Garrard was on the mound against Pennsylvania, when Cole Wagner stepped up to the plate. Pennsylvania was already in the lead, but Garrard gave up a grand slam to Wagner that extended the lead.

Pennsylvania completed the rout, 18-0.

When the ball blasted over Garrard’s head and over the wall, he could have been as disappointed as everyone to give up such an impactful play.

Instead, he just enjoyed the remarkable play with a hilarious reaction that has been going viral.

Check it out.
