Last week, Iowa State center Jameel McKay and the Cyclones finished their trip to Spain 2-1. The team lost one close game to the Venezuelan National Team, 82-77, and McKay sent out some pretty interesting tweets following the loss that had the entire Cyclone fan base worried about his future in Ames.
I'm ready to go home

Cyclones’ head coach Steve Prohm and McKay’s teammate Monte Morris both commented on the tweets and it looks like the tweets were taken out of context. The fans should have nothing to worry about.
“I think he just tweets sometimes for no reason,” Morris told the Ames Tribune.
Prohm had not seen the tweets from McKay, but he said he is expecting “great things” from the center this season. In 2014, McKay averaged 11 points and 7.6 rebounds per game as a junior.
Upon seeing his tweets being put into the public eye, McKay responded saying that the tweets were just lyrics from a song.
Lol yo literally all those are on one song by meek mill called cold hearted https://t.co/i8RVfB5Xl3

I don’t think the Cyclones or their fans have anything to worry about. The team opens the season on November 13 when they play Colorado at a neutral site.
