Brandon Jones is one of the most sought after defensive prospects in the 2016 college football recruiting class. He is a five-star safety and many believe that he has the potential to be a superstar at some point in the next few years. Due to that fact, almost every single big school in the country has been looking to get a commitment from him and has made him a scholarship offer.
Despite all of the interest being thrown his way, Jones has narrowed his choices down to six schools in particular. He took to Twitter to share who those six schools are, and they are an impressive list to say the least.

It’s going to be very hard to choose between those three schools. There are pros and cons for all of them, although Jones would be able to compete for a national championship much quicker with either Alabama or Oregon from the outside looking in.
Texas could be the sleeper team to watch out for, as Jones plays his high school football in Texas. Every single high school player in Texas has thoughts about joining the Longhorns and continuing their Texas football tradition. Jones may decide to head elsewhere for better chances at bigger success, but helping turn the Longhorns’ football program around could be a major draw for him as well.
All of that being said, it will be very interesting to watch as he continues to consider which schools to eliminate next. He is the type of player that can completely change the future for the program that he chooses, which makes this one of the most intriguing recruiting processes to watch.
