The LSU Tigers’ basketball squad has a special player in Ben Simmons. Entering as a member of the team’s 2015 recruiting class, Simmons was the number one ranked prospect in the country and is seen as the probable number one pick in the 2016 NBA Draft.
The Tigers took a trip over to Australia last week and according to College Spun, Simmons had an absolutely amazing showing for his team. The team only posted a 3-2 record, but they found the next great superstar in LSU history.

Those numbers right there are Player of the Year, number one draft pick type numbers. I mean, could you really expect anything different from the number one high school recruit in the nation?
The Tigers are going to be one of the most intriguing teams to watch in the 2015-16 season. Teams better not sleep on LSU this year.
LSU opens the season on November 13 when they host McNeese State.
