Baylor leads the Big 12 in home game ticket prices

In conjunction with computing home game ticket prices for the SEC and Big Ten conferences, the Big 12 – home to football’s second home to the SEC in tradition and recruiting – is the least expensive of the three by a long shot (Georgia – $238.70, Ohio State $231.22).

And although Baylor’s homestand accommodates only 45,000 – compared to Memorial Stadium’s 100,000 seating chart – Baylor de-hooked the Longhorns in ticket sales at a margin of $40. Meanwhile, it’s no surprise that Kansas sits at the bottom of the totem pole, charging only 36 George Washington’s.

Below are the Big 12 match-ups that intend to bring in the most guacamole for ticket offices, including a non-conference game between Texas and the Cal Bears:

Baylor vs. Texas – $262.28
Texas vs. Cal – $194.62
Oklahoma vs. TCU – $204.10
TCU vs. Baylor – $270.83
Oklahoma St. vs. Oklahoma – $241.40
West Virginia vs. Texas – $139.92
Kansas St. vs. Oklahoma – $134.47
Iowa St. vs. Iowa – $173.71
Texas Tech vs. TCU – $139.19
Kansas vs. Kansas St.- $61.08
