On Friday afternoon, the Ohio State Buckeyes team captains for the 2015 college football season were announced and one name on the list caused a firestorm of speculation around social media.
The name that generated all of that attention was J.T. Barrett, who is locked in a race with Cardale Jones for the starting quarterback job.

Of course, that led to everyone speculating about whether Barrett was now named the starter for the upcoming season.

There were previous reports that Barrett was leading the race, so this will only add fuel to that fire.
