LSU OL Adrian Magee has surgery on foot, out indefinitely

Adrian Magee was one of LSU’s largest signees of the 2015 recruiting class. However, he and the team both knew that he would likely redshirt his freshman season after he broke his foot earlier in the summer.

According to the New Orleans Times-Picayune, the freshman had surgery for the broken foot on Thursday and will be out for an undetermined amount of time. LSU sports information director Michael Bonnette confirmed the injury news on Thursday.

Magee was a four-star recruit from Franklinton, Louisiana and was ranked as the forty-fifth offensive tackle in the country. He made strides over the summer, dropping forty-four pounds from 368 to 324 since the start of summer workouts.

Magee, who is the cousin of former LSU and current Baltimore Ravens running back Terrance Magee, will more than likely redshirt this year. The six-foot-four offensive tackle will certainly come next summer looking to take over a starting role for the Tigers.
