Kevin Sumlin and his Texas A&M Aggies picked up a big time recruit today for the 2016 class. Four-star running back Rakeem Boyd announced on Twitter that he is taking his talents to College Station.

The Houston, Texas native committed to the Aggies over schools like Oklahoma, Michigan and Minnesota.

Boyd is a big and powerful running back standing 6ft tall and just under 200 pounds. In his junior year of high school he rushed for over 2500 yards and 29 touchdowns.

According to 247 Sports, Texas A&M now has the 22nd ranked class for 2016.

Sumlin is working diligently to put together a SEC powerhouse down in Aggie country. His team has been picked by some as a dark horse contender for this years SEC West Crown.

Fans will have to wait one more season to see Boyd in an Aggie uniform, but expect him to make a major impact in his freshman year.
