Another freshman Arkansas player arrested

There is a saying in Fayetteville, and it goes: even the punters like to party.

Last night, freshman Blake Johnson was arrested and booked for public intoxication in Washington County, Arkansas. Check out the mugshot above courtesy of the County Sheriff’s Office.

This news comes just two days after freshman tight end C.J. O’Grady was arrested for DWI. O’Grady has now been suspended indefinitely from the team.

Head coach Bret Bielema is not a fan of off the field publicity. Especially when it has to deal with his players conduct and behavior. Earlier in the summer when some experts were picking Arkansas to win the SEC, Bielema was quick to say that his team has to prove it on the field.

If Johnson ends up being suspended it shouldn’t have much of an affect to the seasons outcome. Unfortunately for him, the picture has now gone viral and he will have to live with the embarrassment.

Arkansas is set to open against UTEP on Sept. 5.
