Gonzaga lands French PF Killian Tillie for 2016 class

The Gonzaga Bulldogs just missed making their first ever Final Four last season when they fell to the Duke Blue Devils in the Elite Eight. They are looking to be better over the next few seasons and the just got a lot better for the 2016 season.

According to College Basketball Talk, French power forward Killian Tillie committed to the Bulldogs Saturday afternoon. Tillie, whose older brother Kim played basketball for Utah, will be able to add a huge spark to the Gonzaga team in the low post.

The six-foot-eight Tillie represented France at the FIBA U16 European Championships last summer. He averaged 14.3 points and 9.6 rebounds per game as the team went on to win the championship.

Hopefully he is used to winning championships because the Bulldogs will surely be a championship contender with him on the court next year. It’s going to be tough to go up against the Bulldogs over the next few seasons.
