UNC’s Theo Pinson drains shot well beyond sideline

Roy Williams and his North Carolina Tar heels are expected to be one of the better teams come this season. With a highly talented roster and some of the younger players now a year older, UNC is ready to get back to the top of the ACC standings after last years 5th place finish.

One player who will be counted on more than others is sophomore forward Theo Pinson. The former five-star recruit missed 14 games last season because of a broken foot, but is now fully healthy and ready to be the player that Williams recruited him to be.

This morning Pinson was showing off some of his long range shooting skills inside UNC’s gym. Check it out below.

Pinson’s leg seems to be completely healed in that clip. Once considered to be a candidate for early entry to the NBA, Pinson now has to work on living up to the hype.

North Carolina will open the season with Temple on Nov. 13.
