Louisiana Tech gets a ‘top notch’ facility upgrade

In an offense headlined by Florida transfer Jeff Driskel (1,140 yards, 9 TD) and leading rusher Kenneth Dixon (2014 – 1,299 yards, 22 TD), the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs welcome the 2015 season in their newborn facility, the Davison Athletic Complex.

Built with convex-shaped oakwood partitions within the locker room, the players marvel more at their ceiling and wall art, which are stamped with the Louisiana Tech logo and fellow teammates, past and present.

Other features of moving day include the weight room, which is plopped down to face the endzone, complete with high-floor glass windows and a carving in all caps of “We are Louisiana Tech.”

Giving out due praise for the first-class crafting and the financial assistance from the boosters, players – and head coach Skip Holtz, who referred to it as “waking up to Christmas Day” – are amped up with their new amenities and plan to take full advantage of the Davison Athletic Complex.
