In 2012, Jim Harbaugh had to make one of the toughest football decisions in his coaching career. He decided to bench then 49ers starting quarterback Alex Smith for Colin Kaepernick. A choice that proved to be for the better of the team after Kaepernick helped lead San Francisco to Super Bowl 47.
Three years later, Smith will get his revenge on Harbaugh.
Well…. Sort of.
According to Holli Alexa, Utah fans will distribute Alex Smith heads throughout the stadium to “haunt” the Michican head coach.
Word on the street is Alex Smith heads will be randomly distributed throughout RES. Welcome to Utah, Harbaugh.

Faithful Utah followers hate how Smith always gets the shorthand of the stick and is constantly considered to be a game manager and not a premier quarterback.
Smith and Harbaugh were always rumored to have a great relationship, but you have to wonder if deep down Smith had some resentment against his head coach.
Michigan will come into the game on Thursday as an underdog and is not expected to walk out of Salt Lake City with a victory.
