The 2015 Little League World Series wrapped up today as Japan defeated the team from Lewisberry, Pennsylvania in an absolute slugfest by a score of 18-11.

It was an absolute choke by Lewisberry, as the team led 10-2 after the first inning. The rest of the effort can be summed up in a single tweet.

That’s pretty bad, to go from having a seemingly unstoppable offense to suddenly running out of gas at the plant and not having the guys on the mound be able to hold an eight-run lead.
Just the same, Japan is a country that takes baseball very seriously, and this team was no slouch whatsoever. Capturing its fifth title in seven years, chances are Japan will be back with a vengeance once again in 2016.
