John Harbaugh scolds reporter in halftime interview

Last night’s preseason game between the Washington Redskins and Baltimore Ravens got a bit intense, even featuring a fight on the field that got Baltimore receiver Steve Smith Sr. ejected from the game. Naturally, with his Ravens looking sloppy in general and trailing 14-13 at halftime, coach John Harbaugh got a bit testy with Comcast SportsNet’s Brent Harris when approached for a brief interview before heading to the locker room.

Things didn’t get better from there. Baltimore couldn’t score once in the second half and lost 31-13. Though only a preseason game, that is probably the last thing that Harbaugh wanted to see happen with the start of the regular season looming.

Anyway, a couple of things can be taken away from this brief exchange. First, Harbaugh hates seeing his team underperform, even if it is the preseason.

Secondly, if you’re the lucky reporter tasked with interviewing Harbaugh at halftime, have your questions prepared beforehand so you don’t get a tongue-lashing!
