I don’t know what it is, but there’s just something about powder blue in football uniforms that adds a certain flair. The San Diego Chargers’ powder blue jersey is always exciting to see, and Ole Miss’ throwback helmets in the same color are a nice departure from the darker one fans have grown accustomed to seeing over the past several years.
Needless to say, these helmets look fantastic and should be broken out more often.
Ole Miss opens the season at home against the OVC’s Tennesse-Martin Nighthawks on Saturday.
