Auburn Krystal uses ‘sack’ joke to troll Louisville

The marquee at a fast food restaurant is usually used to promote the store’s newest sandwich, salad, drink, or special deal going on at the time. The Krystal in Auburn, Alabama takes a bit of a different route when trying to pull in the customers.

You see McDonalds using their sign to wish somebody a happy birthday or congratulate the most recent graduating class, but not this Krystal.

The restaurant with the tiny, steamy, addictive little cheeseburgers shows their team pride for the Auburn Tigers. Their latest victim? Well, it’s of course the Tigers’ season-opening opponent Louisville.

Like I said, the Cardinals aren’t the first Auburn opponent this particular Krystal has “trolled” in the past. You can see a whole slew of marquee board messages the restaurant has put up in support of the hometown team here.

Now, I really want some Krystal burgers. This sign is enough to make you want to stop and ask them why they do it and they will probably simply reply “War Damn Eagle.”

This game is going to be great.
