Obama and Bear Grylls to film special episode of ‘Running Wild’

We have known over the past two presidential terms that President Barack Obama is quite pop culture saavy. He has a couple kickin’ playlists on Spotify and can build a March Madness bracket with the best of them.

Now we are hearing that he is ending his run as POTUS with a real pop  statement–appearing on a reality TV show.

But we aren’t talking about any ol’ show. Oh no. President Obama is going appear on an episode of “Running Wild with Bear Grylls.”

The filming of the episode reportedly coordinates with a visit the president is making to Alaska.

Of course, there will reportedly be some discussion about climate change and how that it affects the state of Alaska, before the two head off into the wilderness. Per The New York Times “President Obama will become the first U.S. president to receive a crash course in survival techniques from Bear Grylls.”

If the President doesn’t snag a salmon with his bare hands and then eat it raw I am going to be so bummed.
