Mark Fox sent Mark Richt and football team Krispy Kreme

Coaches on campus have a tight bond with each other. No matter what sport they coach, they all know what each other go through every day. There may be no tighter bound than what Georgia head basketball coach Mark Fox has with football coach Mark Richt.

For one, they share the same first name and they are both used to winning every year.

Fox wanted to wish Richt and his team good luck going into the 2015 season. He did what any good coach and friend would do and sent the football team boxes of Krispy Kreme doughnuts. I mean, who doesn’t love doughnuts?

I’m sure the team appreciated that cool gesture by Coach Fox. I’m also sure that the doughnuts made a nice post-practice snack for the guys on the team. They have to at least return the favor come basketball season, right?

The Bulldogs open the season this Saturday as they host Louisiana-Monroe. The game is set to kickoff at 12 noon and can be seen on the SEC Network.
